Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Riad Le Petit Joyau, I found it to be an enchanting retreat that perfectly marries comfort and style in the heart of Marrakech. The riad boasts beautifully designed rooms with luxurious bedding and tasteful decor, creating a serene oasis after a busy day exploring the vibrant city. Hamza, one of our hosts, truly stood out for his warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring our brief stay felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a mix of traditional Moroccan flavors that fueled us for our adventures. The shared terrace, adorned with a lovely garden, became our favorite spot to unwind, offering a tranquil escape with lovely views. I particularly appreciated the establishment's commitment to sustainability, which resonates with my values as an archaeologist who champions responsible travel. Although our visit was short-just a night before a desert safari-I returned for a cup of tea, wishing I could have lingered longer. Riad Le Petit Joyau not only provided a comfortable bed and attentive service but also a captivating atmosphere that embodied the essence of Marrakech. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a unique and welcoming stay.
